Today, I realized how bumpy the next couple of months are going to be.

Instead getting a great price for selling our house, we found out that we wouldn’t get near the amount we needed just to break even. The realtor came by today to break that piece of news. She recommended renting out our house as a great way to invest our money. I am not really concerned too much because renting is what most people do right now anyway. I just wanted to be free and clear of one loan, but that is ok.

I think we also decided to move out of here sooner and rent an apartment before we move for good. That way we could ensure someone would rent this place, and at least pay for our mortgage payment.

The realtor said that we wouldn’t get near what the house is worth because of how sucky the market is right now. She said maybe in a few years we could put it on the market and get much better results.

I feel better now that the realtor has come and been up-front with us. I am just excited about all that is happening in the next couple of months.
