Kellogg's Korner

A Conservative Commentary on Family, Religion, Politics and Technology

No time to breath

Posted by Zerzix On March - 5 - 2008

Ok, over the past two weeks I have not had much time for anything. Between work, lack of sleep and needing to take care of family matters, this is the first time I really got to sit down and write a blog.

OK, do i had time to watch a few movies, two of which I will post movie nights on, and a game that I will review. But other than that, time has been scarce.

There have been a few things that I have done in my spare time at work. First of which was setting up a Microsoft Officelive.com account. This is a neat way to set up online file storage and a business account. It even has a file and workspace sharing system built in. On there I have set up a Project work space for my Palladium Online Project. If you are interested in working on it send me a WindowsLive IM to adam(at)kelloggskorner(dot)com. I also set up a Windowslive Spaces, and linked my MySpace Blog to it, I am not sure what I will really do with all these profiles on the internet, but I am ensuring that I am one of the only Zerzix online.

I also set up an ODesk.com freelance software developer account. I need to flesh it out a bit more, and make a few Portfolio projects to show my skills. But, I am sure if I ever get it going right, I will have many opportunities to develop new things and get paid for it for a change.

I have not found any time to log into FFXI lately, nor have I really wanted to. Some time I will get back into it, or set up a time to play that does not interfere with real life. If I don’t get back into it in the next few weeks, I might just cancel that account. We will see, I have only had my Zerzix FFXI character for 4 years now. I have put a lot of work into it, so I will never sell it, like so many others do.

I am also looking at all I need to do for my ETS. I still need to turn in my Terminal leave form. I should start clearing in the middle of June. I don’t have much longer. Once I am on terminal leave I will really start looking for a job. I will need to have one with in 75 days of that.

There is so much going on and so little time.
