The long anticipated FFXIII has been released here in America. I managed to pick up a copy in the store with out preordering. This might be a bas sign for the FF franchise. Or it may just be the fact that is did come out on Tuesday and people have not been able to get out and pick up their copy yet.

I started playing this morning. Right off the story starts to look like an FFVII remake with new characters. I was slightly disappointed to see how the opening was almost identical to FFVII, only it had much better graphics. When you get past the opening the story starts to look more like a meshing of many early FF plotlines. I can’t wait to see how this one turns out.

The combat system is a similar to FFIII with i mild blend of FFXII. The main difference is it appears that you control only the party leader with the other members a controlled through the Paradigm system. The battle mode is initiated similar to the FFXII where the monsters appear on the screen and can be avoided if you are not within their sight. This makes it a bit easier you run to the save point if you need to stop for a bit. The Mob respawn rate seams decent when compared to the FFXII. I was able to refight mobs by simple turning around and running back the way I came.

The advancement system, Crystogenesis, reminds me of the spheargrid for FFX with a mild difference. You advance each role separately, spending you CP on the roles you want to advance at the given time, similar to the FFV system where you advance the job you are currently working with for each character.

The Graphics and Cinematic are awesome, there to little to no load time for most movie clips that I have seen so far. For now the game is a great addition to the FF collection. As I play more of the game I will let you know if my opinion changes, and why.

I guess I am gonna go ahead and say I probably might or won’t get to write every night. I’ve got the quirky 3-year-old who thinks sleep is highly overrated. Thankfully Adam will be home tonight. YAY ME!

There are 4 things I am to people: 1 goes to God, 1 goes to my family I have made for myself, 1 goes to my family in AL, and one goes to me.
I am pretty sure I am standing someone in front of the a totem pole where I am a the base.

I have heard that being lowest in the pole meant you got the the short end of the stick or the bad handle in the deal.
But, I don’t get that anymore:Someone has to be the base for on which everything willl come from.

My base has everything that has blossomed from what I have done- a family, dreams that are all mine, and the Lord about sitting a top watching over whatever is on the totem.

God Bless the Single Parent

I am not a single parent, nor have ever been one, but I do feel like something should be said here.
Parents are brave souls anyway-at least if they are doing right-then to be a single parent has to be rough. You don’t get the chance to semi-raise your kids without daycare like I have.
Plus, the fabulous world of statstics say that kids without a 2 parent family, fail more that others with 2 parents.
I choose not to believe this based on the fact that there is always that one human idolized in the media that has broken free from the chains of adversity. That has to say something .
My mom says “you have to do what you have to do”. Sometimes you have bend the rules to deal with life and in parenting we need that freebie pass. So bless the singles w/kids…Don’t give up.
I must also say “thanks” to them all.

1. Thou shalt not take thy wife for granted, but will honor and respect her as thy equal.

(Gen 1:27) On the sixth day of creation God made both man and women in his own image. From the beginning of time Both men and women were created equal in the eyes of God. Women are equal yet different.

Nobeliefs.com has published a misleading article that represents the bible as making women inferior to men. They used the same method most people use to make it look like the bible fits their views. The quote one verse out of context with the verses around it. I will take the time here to show how these verses mentioned actually show the equality of women in the bible.

(Leviticus 21) The first citation in this document is dealing with the high standards of priesthood. Even before this time it was common practice to burn their children if they were found to be prostitutes. This comes back to the command from God for children to honor you parents. These are laws written specifically for Jewish Prelists and in you look farther into the passage you will see the limitations placed on who can be a priest. The standards for priesthood are extremely high and would not be able to hold up to the laws of the land today. this law is overshadowed by the command of God to obey the laws of the government under which we live (1 Pet 2:13-17)

(Deuteronomy 25:11-12) Next they sight were a woman’s hand shall be cut off if she aids in her husbands desertion from war. Her is equality for you, according to our military laws a man can be put to death for desertion during war time.

(Leviticus 12:5) After that the author cites verses that covered health concerns of the time. The verse is taken entirely out of context making it look as if you would get punished if you had a girl child. The verse was used to present better health conditions for both the male and female child. The may be seen as taking more care for the health of a female child than for the health of a male child. A girl child is kept out of contact with germs and diseases longer than a boy child. Is the really inequality?

(I Corinthians 11) Later the author points out verses that deal with prayer laws. These are not laws of equality of men and women. in fact in several places it fives women consideration where men are condemned, specificity in regards to long hair. In this passage men with long hair are a disgrace to themselves, while long hair on a women is her glory. Other citings in this passage deal with the roles given to both men and women within a family. We will deal with those at a latter time I am sure.

The Authors next two verses have nothing to do with equality of men and women, The first of which (Revelation 2:22-23) Deals with the end of times. The second (Exodus 22:18-20) Deals with those who worshiping other gods, this is common is almost all religions. Neither of these verses belittle women or men, they are both put to death equally for braking the laws.

(Judges 19:24-25) Next a story is put forth out of context yet again where there is a rape of a women. the author neglects to go into the next chapter where a war was started over this atrocity. They started a war for the death of one women, and a concubine at that. I would say that this story once again shows that the bible puts much value into women no matter what there station is in life.

(I Timothy 2:11-14) With the next citation we can see that we are dealing with an echo of the laws dealing with prayer and the submission of women to men as the man is biblical hear and authority of a home. Only those who are looking for inequality in the bible with cite verses like this. I would like to point out that is cite also shows where Adam knew what he was doing was wrong, the women was tricked into eating the fruit. So they have pointed out a shortfall of men while stating the punishment imposed by God in genesis.

(Deuteronomy 22:22) Here is cited a passage that actually promotes equality of men and women. It is not speaking of rape, but of the willing act of inter-marital relations both parties will be put to death. They stone both the man and women, what can be more equal than that?

(Isaiah 7:14) Here the misinterpretation of Young women vs. Virgin has nothing to do with equality

(Deuteronomy 22:28-29) Then the Author jumps back to laws that would be overshadowed by the command to follow the laws of the land where we live. If you look at the time and society in which this law was made, if the woman was not married she would be put to death, which is better? Many girls inhere in America were told by their parents they the need to marry the guy who got them pregnant, even if it was rape. This does not change the value or equality of women within the eye of God. We were created equal. This was a law put into place to try and stop rape, over time the laws have become more harsh on this subject.

(Ephesians 5:22-24) In this passage we see the bible tells women to submit, not subjugate themselves, to their husbands. Conveniently the Author left out the next line where the husbands is told to love an honor his wife. It goes on to tell men to love your wife as if she is your own body, showing the equality in the relationship of husband and wife. A man may be the biblical head of a family, but without his wife he is head of nothing.

(Genesis 3:16) The author cites genesis where the women is punished for her sin. What the author failed to see what that Man was given the blame for sin. Adam was with Eve when she took the fruit of the tree and did nothing to stop her. Also their eyes were not opened to the knowledge until after Adam willingly ate of the fruit. If you read the full chapter you will see that Adam may have blamed the Eve but he was not tricked into eating the fruit as Eve was. And both men and Women were punished for eating the fruit, and the punishment place the biblical roles of men and women into place. There is a difference between submission and subjection, women are to be submissive to her husband, not subjected to them.

(Hosea 13:16) Next the Author cite punishment for rebellion against God. Once again this verse has nothing to do with women’s equality to men. This is taken completely out of context.

The Author’s final citings are from Ecclesiasticus which is not even part of the Christian Canonical Bible. This book is considered an outside book and should not be used when condemning Christians for Inequality of women.

I have found that many of the verses people cite for the bible’s position of women as inferior to men are often not taken with the bible as a whole. Over and over I read these passages that have nothing to do with the equality of men and women, while every passage that tells women to submit to their husband (not just any man) goes on to tell men to honor and love their wife as Christ loves the church. I beg you to show me a passage that actually says women are inferior to men. The writer conveniently leave out ever where in the bible where men are told to honor their wives. (1 Peter 3:7)

Honor and love you wife for you are one flesh in the eyes of God, and how can one flesh have unequal parts? (Genesis 2:24,Matthew 19:4-5, Mark 10:8, Ephesians 5:31)

Sorry to those non-existence followers of mine-yesterday I was just too sleepy.
Tonight, I am gonna visit a few topics, so I am just gonna write as it comes to me.
My first thought is about the National Anthem, well technically not about the Anthem, but something related to me about it.
I remember when I was a senior in high school, I was in love with singing and baseball and the interesting combination of the two. Back then I wasn’t fearless, but I was one of the only seniors to have a pretty awesome mode of transportation. Ok, Ok, it was a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, but it was bought new at a haggled-down price of 23 grand. Back then, that serious cash bought me awesome school “cred” as it is called now, so this kinda made feel a little uppity and kinda fear free.
Anyways, anyways, back to the point-I had this awesome dream that, at the time, seemed plausible-I wanted to sing the National Anthem at a baseball game-preferably at the pro-circuit.
Now, I am 31 and I have no more line to that goal than I did to that other goal of chartering a boat to go “sharking”. Ah, to swim with the sharks. I think I dream way too big and apparently for someone else with a lot more money and well, a lot more money.
I guess I could still reach the goals, if I tried really hard, but I just don’t think that is in the cards. I have to believe that God dealt my cards and I can’t “go fish” for something else.
I think right now I am focused on something else-it was like a spark of light and everything passed away. Old thoughts and dreams didn’t matter anymore.
I was told I must do something more than be a singer or shark diver-those things wouldn’t really change anything about society, if society can be changed.
Jesus in effect said-You(meaning us mere mortals)catch them, and I(meaning Jesus)will clean them.
I felt and still feel different about all of the flash of inspiration.
I had been waiting for a long time-For once, I felt that life was soon to be about me.
Now there was a concept. I don’t know what it is, but even after finding true love and having become a parent-life was never about me.
I am a bit still apprehensive about my revelations, but they have never been so clearer.

I just can’t wait to get started…

Let me tell you things according to me.
My Believes (no not beliefs):
I believe people should worry about the log in their own eye before wondering about mine. Jesus talked about this frequently in and out Revelation.
I believe the “eye for and eye” won’t fly when we face judgement day.
I believe that all suffering a Christian faces in a constant battle against evil, will reap many more rewards than what can be seem here on earth.
I believe that it is not my job to cast judgement on anyone.
Here is where i differ from most so called “Christians”- I wait with open arms to anyone-gay or straight-black, white, whatever.
Jesus was to open-minded or else he would have helped only the priviledged people.
I believe that while going to church is a great way to fellowship with other Christians, you don’t hold the golden ticket into Heaven by attending.
One fill-in pastor we had in GA , basically said that if you weren’t tithing, your not receive anthing from God. Of course this is not true, because people who don’t go to church or give money to the church receive miracles-including myself.
Sometimes, I feel God is sad because of how his love for all of has been so contorted and twisted.
I don’t believe that suicide dooms us to Hell either. That is something I cannot judge on. Who knows anything about death? No One! Most of time when you die-you don’t comeback to say what the after life was like.
I think that it way wrong to have prayer taken out of schools, but I am reminded daily that this Earth is not ours. Satan was thrown here to kill and destroy.
I think that people blame God way too much, when they need to take a u-turn and place the blame on Satan. After all, he started all of this mess. With that said,
All these things lead to a not so perfect life. The closer we draw to God, the more Satan draws to you, making you so confused. Who do I blame this time?
In the Bible we see how God tested many of his followers. God in Job used Satan to cause his carnage. While Job lost everthing, and got way pissed off about it, he never uttered the phrase Satan so wants every Christian to say: “Curse God and Die!”
I think the perfect life as Christians escapes us beacause we are in a constant battle-fighting for God, while holding off Satan. We hold onto a one and true God. Just think of how we piss Satan off, because we believe in something higher and better.
I think everyone that is a believer has wished Adam and Eve had never sinned, or that Lucifer had never been boastful. I just don’t get all of his hate and evil. He is and forever wiil be a “dirty ‘old bastard”. Well from me to you Satan: I rebuke your name forever and eternity-Take that!
